The Rolling River Band: Music
Snow in July
(The Rolling River Band)
Colin Adams
It's snowing but it's late July, as the flakes fall on the lawn.
As I sit here by the window, just wondering where it is you've gone
CHORUS : I don't recall it ever being so cold so early in the year, it's going to be a long cold winter, and I wish that you were here.
We met back in the springtime, when the flowers were in bloom. Thought that we'd grow old together, don't know why you left so soon.
CHORUS
But what if we could be forever, and never say goodbye. Could you tell me that you loved me as I look into your eyes.
CHORUS
Thats the way the story goes, and sometimes things just fall apart, and i'd never wish you sorrow, we're still together in my heart
CHORUS
