I wish I was an actor in the movies, on some old film upon the silver screen. I could be a soldier or a cowboy, playing my life out cutting from scene to scene.
Maybe I could be your superhero, in a big blockbuster way down in Hollywood. Maybe I could be your Superman, I'd fly the world to save you if I could.
I wish I was an actor in the movies, in a horror film that gets you so damn scared. Maybe I could be your Frankenstein but I don't think the bolts will suit my underwear.
Or maybe I could be your Starship trooper, flying a spaceship far beyond the stars. Stuck out here upon this lonely planet and trying to answer is there life on mars?
Well I wish I was an actor in the movies, and be in all the films you want to see. Im sorry darling that you didn't like it but i cant act when your in front of me, and I can't play what you want me to be.
